Port St. Lucie man claims $1 million top prize in Lottery scratch-off game
PORT ST. LUCIE — A 37-year-old local man claimed a $1 million top prize in a Florida Lottery Scratch-Off game, the Lottery announced Monday.
Who won: Marques Robinson, 37, of Port St. Lucie, claimed the prize, which he chose to get as a lump-sum payment of $798,985.
Type of ticket: $5 MONOPOLY DOUBLER Scratch-Off game.

Place of purchase: The ticket was bought at a business identified as Tina’s Grocery in West Palm Beach. The store gets a $2,000 commission for selling the winning ticket.
When was prize claimed: Robinson claimed the prize Dec. 9, 2022, according to Michele Griner, Lottery spokesperson. Beginning in May 2022, the names of Lottery winners who claim prizes of $250,000 or more are temporarily exempt from public disclosure for 90 days of the date the prize is claimed, unless the winner waives it, according to the Lottery.
