Portion of Colo. 93 closed due to unsafe road conditions

Nov. 5—A section of Colo. 93 between Colo. 128 and Eldorado Springs Drive is closed in both directions due to unsafe road conditions.

According to Master State Trooper Gary Cutler of the Colorado State Patrol, a vehicle had been parked on the shoulder at 6:50 p.m. Friday, and several cars slid into it. A total of four vehicles are in the area, two of them have slid off the road, and the vehicles are stuck and unable to be moved, Cutler said.

No injuries have been reported. CDOT is currently en route to the area to do some sanding on the road before reopening it. There is currently no estimated time for reopening Colo. 93.
