Portion of South Washington in Grand Forks slated for lane closure, starting Aug. 8

Aug. 5—GRAND FORKS — A portion of South Washington Street in Grand Forks will see a lane closure, starting Monday, Aug. 8.

According to a release from the city, "motorists should be aware of lane closures starting Monday, Aug. 8, on South Washington Street, near the 2300 block, just north of 24th Ave. South. Outside traffic lanes and the pedestrian underpass, under the roadway, will be closed."

The city release said the closure is needed to complete repairs in the roadway as well as the box culvert below. There will be signs placed nearby to alert motorists and pedestrians.
