Is Portland getting a Target? Here's what we know.
Target is officially coming to Portland.
In March, development company McLeod submitted a proposal to the Portland City Council to build more than 200,000 square feet of retail space, including a 125,000-square-foot space for a "nationally recognized, anchor retail store," but couldn't disclose the name of the brand.

Though an address was not available, the Target website lists a 128,500-square-foot Portland Northshore location coming to the area.
McLeod previously proposed building the retail space on nearly 45 acres of farm land next to Bill Miller Bar-B-Q at the northeast corner of U.S. Highway 181 and Broadway Boulevard.
The new location will be only the second in the area, with the first located in Corpus Christi.
