Portland Police Declare Riot as Protesters Gather Outside Mayor's Apartment
Portland police declared a riot during the 95th night of demonstrations in the city late on August 31, as protesters gathered outside the reported home of Mayor Ted Wheeler.
Footage from the protest shows people banging loud drums and dancing to music outside an apartment building as a fire burns in the background. A man in a wheelchair is also seen arguing with police.
