Sorry For Party Rocking: 2010-2015 Pop & EDM Throwbacks

When: Friday, Feb. 16 at 9 p.m.
Where: Holocene, 1001 SE Morrison St, Portland, OR 97214

2010s hits will be the soundtrack to this themed party at Holocene nightclub. Guests can expect to hear tracks from artists such as Akon, Pitbull and Kesha. Presale tickets for the party are sold out, but the venue will offer a few more at the door.

Pacific Northwest Sportsmen’s Show

When: Friday, Feb 16 through Sunday, Feb. 18 at various times
Where: Portland Expo Center, 2060 Marine Dr W, Portland, OR 97217.

This major trade show brings together people who love outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing and camping. The Pacific Northwest Sportsmen’s Show will feature hundreds of vendors, as well as seminars from Randy Newberg and Fred Eichler.

NW Black Comedy Festival

When: Friday, Feb. 16 through Sunday, Feb. 18 at various times
Where: Curious Comedy Theater, 5225 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Portland, OR 97211

The NW Black Comedy Festival, founded by husband and wife Tyrone and Courtenay Collins, will celebrate its eighth year. The weekend-long festival highlights national and local Black comics through 11 shows, including “A Drunken Night Out,” “Ladies Run This Mutha” and “I Got A Story to Tell.”

“Peter Pan”

When: Saturday, Feb. 17 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Feb. 18 at 12 p.m. and 5 p.m.

The opening weekend for Oregon Ballet Theater’s production of “Peter Pan” is here. The show will showcase “spectacular flying sequences, swashbuckling sword fights, giant puppets, and of course, Tinker Bell!”

Dragon Dance Parade and Celebration

When: Saturday, Feb. 17 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Where: Portland Chinatown Museum, 127 NW 3rd Ave, Portland, OR 97209

In honor of Lunar New Year, Portland’s Chinatown Museum is hosting a dragon dance parade and celebration in the central city. The event begins at the museum and ends at the Oregon Historical Society.

Oregon Craft Spirit Festival

When: Saturday, Feb. 17 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Oregon Distilled is organizing this event to highlight the state’s booming businesses and chefs on Distillery Row. The 21+ Oregon Craft Spirit Festival costs $50 for attendees, and covers entry, a commemorative glass, and samples from local cooks and distillers.
