Portland Youth Philharmonic presents all-American music concert featuring Grammy winners

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The Portland Youth Philharmonic is the first youth orchestra in the country to turn 100 years old.

This week, they’ll be presenting “Serenade in the Wind,” a concert of all-American music set to feature the 2024 Grammy award-winning music group Imani Winds.

They will also perform the West Coast premiere of Jeff Scott’s “Paradise Valley Serenade.”

Tickets for the show can be purchased online.

The show is on Saturday, March 2, at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall at 7:30 pm.
