7. TRAINING IN PROGRESS

STORY: Portugal take on France on Saturday (November 14) in a Nations League match that will serve as a dress rehearsal for the delayed Euro 2020 tournament next summer.

The teams meet in Group F at the Euros which will now be played in 2021, but first have unifinished Nations League business.

If either team wins in Lisbon, they will progress to the finals by way of a better head to head record after a 0-0 draw in Paris.

A draw means qualification will go down to the final set of matches, with France playing Sweden at home and Portugal travelling to Croatia.
