A possible tornado ripped through a town in Cheshire, England, on October 20, causing damage to a housing estate, footage captured by local residents shows.

This video by Claire Earnshaw shows residents of the town of Widnes cleaning up debris after damaging winds hit the area.

The UK’s weather service said there were reports of a tornado in Widnes, adding that tornadoes are “not uncommon in the UK.”
