Avanti West Coast

Disruption expected between Rugby and  Lichfield Trent Valley until midday affecting services to the North West. Disruption is also expected until 1pm between Birmingham International and Birmingham New Street after a trespass incident.

CrossCountry

There is a reduced service between Birmingham New Street and Nottingham expected until the end of the day due to a shortage of train drivers, which could result in cancellations.

East Midlands Railway and Thameslink

There is a good service on the East Midlands Railway but disruption to Thameslink trains between St Albans and London St Pancras due to a signalling fault.

Greater Anglia

Major engineering work between Shenfield and Witham is affecting all services on the mainline with trains from Norwich, Ipswich, Clacton, Colchester, and Braintree replaced by buses at Witham. Services to the Cambridge area will terminate at Audley End.

Great Western Railway

Disruption between London Paddington and Reading is expected until 1.30pm after a person was hit by a train earlier. Lines have now reopened but trains may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.

LNER

Some trains will be affected by disruption between Birmingham International and Birmingham New Street until 1pm while rail replacement buses are in place between Watford Junction and St Albans Abbey until approximately 12.30pm due to damage between overhead wires.

Southeastern

Major engineering work means there are no Southeastern services running to London Victoria with trains diverted to London Cannon Street, London Blackfriars and London Charing Cross.

West Midlands Railway

Minor delays on some routes due to the disruption between Birmingham International and Birmingham New Street.

Transport for Wales

Trains could be subject to delays, cancellations and alterations due to Wednesday’s heavy rain with rail replacement buses in place on some lines. The Swansea and Shrewsbury is closed with no replacement services.

ScotRail

Services are still being disrupted by Storm Gerrit with trains cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised. A number of lines are closed and will not resume until safety inspections have been completed.

Southern

A good service is operating.

TransPennine Express

There were minor delays on some routes due to disruption between Darlington and Northallerton but this has now ended.
