Post Malone, the Kid Laroi, Zedd to play F1 weekend parties in downtown Austin

Sports Illustrated has teamed up with vaudeville-themed Hollywood nightclub Bootsy Bellows to present a high-dollar, two-day bash in the former Austin American-Statesman parking lot during Formula One U.S. Grand Prix weekend.

On Oct. 21, following the first day of preliminary rounds, 19-year-old Australian singer-rapper the Kid Laroi will perform alongside electronic music artist Zedd. DJ-producer Irie will also perform.

On Oct. 22, the night before the big race, hip-pop artist Post Malone is scheduled to headline an event that also features a DJ set by Jack Bia.

Malone was hospitalized on Sunday due to breathing issues and pain. A week earlier at a St. Louis concert, he fell through an opening in the stage. He finished the show and was later diagnosed with bruised ribs.

On Tuesday, event organizers said they confirmed on Monday that the event would go ahead as planned.
