CHRIS HAYNES: The number one game that we've seen in summer league thus far was the Sacramento Kings and the Orlando Magic.

KEEGAN MURRAY: Yeah.

CHRIS HAYNES: You two guys going, you two guys going at it right now. Take me through, listen, I know it's summer league. But everybody wants to prove themselves, want to prove their draft stock, you know, prove that their organization made the right decision, first time a lot of people are getting to see you. Take me through like the approach going into that game, the number one pick versus the number four pick. What was that like for you?

KEEGAN MURRAY: Yeah, for me, I didn't feel any pressure going into it. I was excited to go into that game. And, I mean, you got pressure on the outside, all eyes are on you, whatever. But I kind of had the approach that the game was going to come to me.

The coach was going to draw [INAUDIBLE] for me and get me the ball. Obviously, it didn't happen right away. It happened later in the game. And I was able to get hot late and Paolo was great, great player. He got it going early. So I just think the competitive side you saw on both sides of the ball, on his end and on my end.

And, obviously, it was a really good game, one of the best games in the summer league. So it was a blessing to be a part of that. And my teammates enjoyed that game, even though we didn't come out with the win, but it was great to just see everyone in the organization happy.

CHRIS HAYNES: Were your teammates pumping you up before the game, like, all right, like go out there and do your thing? Like we see the match up out there?

KEEGAN MURRAY: Yeah, I mean, they know like the stakes that are at hand. And they really just give me confidence, nothing but confidence, just try and fuel me. And that's a great thing about the guys on our team is that they just fuel each other, no negative stuff, anything like that. It's just fuel, fuel. And you see guys on our team step up. And they've been a blessing to me.

CHRIS HAYNES: It's been a while since we have had a summer league game with like two top rookies going at each other, guarding each other, and producing.

KEEGAN MURRAY: Yeah.

CHRIS HAYNES: And so like the expectations are people are looking forward to it now.

KEEGAN MURRAY: Yeah.

CHRIS HAYNES: You're bringing awareness to the Sacramento Kings. Like they make it national, you know, get some national games now.

KEEGAN MURRAY: Yeah.

CHRIS HAYNES: With that being said, when you're playing well like that, how can you not go on social media and look at some of that praise? You know what I'm saying?

KEEGAN MURRAY: I mean, you know what they're going to say. Like people are going to have your back when you're playing good. But you know that they're going to be the same people that don't have your back when--

CHRIS HAYNES: You've got so much perspective. Man, you're too-- come on, man, you're too young for this, man. You're too young.

KEEGAN MURRAY: I mean--

CHRIS HAYNES: You're too young for this, king.

KEEGAN MURRAY: I mean-- I mean, I don't know. I'm just-- I just matured really early. I have good parents so I don't know. It's just coming with maturity.
