Postponed Magic-Raptors game rescheduled for March 4

·1 min read

The Orlando Magic road game postponed in late December against the Toronto Raptors has been rescheduled for 7:30 p.m. on March 4.

The matchup, which was originally scheduled for Dec. 21, was postponed on Dec. 20 out of an abundance of caution with the Magic awaiting additional COVID-19 test results after five Orlando players entered the league’s health and safety protocols earlier in the week, according to a league source.

The Magic were without 12 players — seven because of injuries and five due to the protocols — in their previous game against the Brooklyn Nets on Dec. 18.

The rescheduling sets up a four-games-in-six-nights slate for the Magic in late February/early March.

The Magic have consecutive home games against the Pacers on Feb. 28 and March 2 before playing the Raptors in Toronto. The rescheduled Magic-Raptors matchup sets up a back-to-back for Orlando, with the Magic playing the Grizzlies on March 5 in Memphis.
