Pothole patching, bridge repairs on PennDOT schedule in Schuylkill County

Jun. 3—ALLENTOWN — PennDOT's District 5 office announced the following roadwork is scheduled for roadways throughout Schuylkill County.

—Pothole patching on Interstate 81 south in Delano and Kline townships from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday between Exit 138, Route 309, and Exit 134, Delano, with lane restrictions. Estimated completion day is Thursday.

—Bridge repairs starting Monday on Sweet Arrow Lake Road/Paradise Road in Washington Twp. between Turkey Farm Road and Meadow View Road. The road will be closed to repair the bridge over Swatara Creek, and local access will be maintained up to the bridge. Drivers are asked to follow detour signs, and traffic may also use Route 443 as an alternate route. Estimated completion date is Aug. 11.
