Pottsville to resume in-person council meetings

Jun. 11—POTTSVILLE — For the first time in more than a year, the public will be allowed to attend city council meetings.

The council chambers will be open to the public to attend meetings beginning Monday.

Face masks are not required for those that are fully vaccinated, but are for those who aren't.

Pottsville's governing body had been holding its meetings through the GoToMeeting platform since spring 2020 to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
