Nationally syndicated radio show “The Breakfast Club,” broadcast from New York City’s Power 105.1 FM, will be seen by more of the masses this spring.

Co-hosted by Charlamagne tha God and DJ Envy, the one-hour edition of the popular morning show, to be called “The Breakfast Club on BET,” will premiere April 17 on both BET and VH1 at 9 a.m. ET weekdays.

“The Breakfast Club,” which launched in 2010 with Brooklyn-born Angela Yee as co-host, airs in 90 markets across the country. The four-hour morning show features music, hot takes and interviews with a wide swath of pop cultural notables, musicians and politicians.

With more than 5.3 million subscribers, “The Breakfast Club’s” YouTube channel features each day’s full show and clips.

In Thursday’s announcement of the deal, BET CEO and president Scott Mills cited the show’s “unique brand of entertainment and cultural commentary.”

“We recognize the show’s influence and popularity, and we are confident that the partnership will be meaningful to our viewers and to our partners,” Mills said.

The partnership also marks the first time BET will broadcast a new daily series in nearly 10 years.

Before being canceled in November 2014, the long-running “106 & Park’' featured myriad hosts — including A.J. Calloway, Big Tigger, Terrence J and Rocsi — and became the network’s top-rated program throughout its 14-year run.

Charlamagne tha God, whose real name is Lenard Larry McKelvey, already has a television presence. The bestselling author currently hosts Comedy Central’s late-night talk show “Hell of a Week with Charlamagne tha God.”

“BET has been the home of so many cultural institutions, like ‘Rap City’ and ‘106 & Park’ that have shaped a generation,” he said. “Those shows laid the foundation for ‘The Breakfast Club’ to stand on and grow into the cultural institution that we have become. We look forward to carrying on the tradition.”
