UPDATE 9:20 P.M. FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (WFXR)– AEP reports they have cleared the power outage in Franklin County.

UPDATE 7:04 P.M. FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (WFXR)– In an update provided by Appalachian Power, over 2,500 customers are currently without power in Franklin County.

AEP reports there is no estimation of when power will be restored.

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (WFXR)– Appalachian Power is reporting that 553 customers are currently without power in Franklin County.

According to the AEP power outage map, the cause of this outage is equipment-related. AEP expects power to be restored by midnight.
