The fire at the Gusinoozyorskaya thermal power plant caused power out-ages across most of the regional capital of Ulan-Ude, as well as a number of settlements in the Trans-Baikal region.

The causes of the fires in both cases have not been determined. No casualties were reported.

On June 22, a drone crashed into the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery in the Rostov region, causing an explosion.
