Powerball results are in; Winner of the million dollar second tier prize from Ohio

The results are in for Powerballs’ record-breaking $2.04 billion jackpot drawing and the winner is from California, according to the Public Information Officer with Ohio Lottery Commission.

The winning numbers are 10-33-41-47-56, Powerball: 10; Power Play: 2x.

After the processing of all sales, the $1.9 billion jackpot settled at $2.04 billion, the spokesperson said in a release shared with News Center 7.

The Ohio winning ticket was sold at a Get Go gas station near Lakewood High School in Cleveland, the spokesperson said. This is the Ohio Lottery’s seventh winner of the million dollar second tier prize so far this year.

The drawing took place just before 9 a.m. Tuesday morning at the Florida Lottery’s Tallahassee studios, the spokesperson said in the release.

Due to a delay in balancing, it also delayed the drawing that was originally scheduled for Monday, Nov. 7th., the spokesperson said.

In the latest drawing, Ohioans purchased $18.5 million worth of Powerball wagers, raising $7 million in profits, the spokesperson said.

Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed around $29 billion to education, the spokesperson said in the release. Approximately 75 cents of each two dollar Powerball purchase in Ohio went to the Lottery Profits Education Fund.
