Powerball rolls to more than $600 million going into Christmas weekend. Check Saturday numbers

Want to be a multimillionaire overnight and just in time for Christmas? Consider playing the Powerball, which has a grand prize that’s inching closer to the Top 10 Powerball jackpots of all time.

After no one matched all five numbers plus the Powerball in the Wednesday, Dec. 20 drawing for $572 million, the grand prize jumped to $620 million just a few days before Christmas. Check your numbers!

Though that's a lot of dough, it's not quite large enough to be in the Top 10 biggest jackpots in U.S. history (see below).

The winning numbers for the drawing on Saturday, Dec. 23 were 9-14-17-18-53 and the Powerball was 6. Power Play was 3x. Those numbers mean another rollover.

The Monday, Christmas Day, Powerball jackpot jingles to an estimated $638 million, with a cash option of $321.1 million. (Has anyone ever won big on Christmas Day? Here are the numbers.)

There were some early big win Christmas presents drawn Saturday. One ticket purchased in Nebraska matched 5 plus the Power Play for a $2 million prize. Another two tickets matched 5 for $1 million and those were purchased in Arizona and Missouri.

In case you're wondering, the winning numbers for the drawing on Wednesday, Dec. 20 were 27-35-41-56-60 and the Powerball was 16. Power Play was 2x.

Though there weren't any matches for the jackpot, there were several big winners from Wednesday's drawing. Three tickets matched 5 plus the Power Play. Those tickets, purchased in Colorado, Kentucky and Virginia won at $2 million prize. Two more tickets, one of those also from Kentucky and another bought in Rhode Island, matched 5 for a $1 million prize.

If a Grand Prize goes unclaimed, the money must be returned to all lotteries in proportion to their sales for the draw run.
