Big win came just before Thanksgiving

Stephen Durrell, the Lottery's executive director, noted that the big win came on the weekend before Thanksgiving.

“The Kansas Lottery had the pleasure of making someone out there a little more thankful this week,” he said. “We are thrilled for our winner, as nothing makes us happier than giving away a big jackpot to our players.”
