Powering A Clean Future it be presented Thursday

A program titled Powering A Clean Future: Learn How Locals Can Lead the Way will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Bruch Hall, First Presbyterian Church, 621 College Ave., Wooster.

Joe Flarida, executive director, Power a Clean Future Ohio; Cassandra Clevenger, deputy director, Power a Clean Future Ohio; and Sarah Spence, executive director, Ohio Conservative Energy Forum; will be part of the presentations to address the concerns of people and businesses in Wayne County about how the altered climate is affecting and will continue to affect the area. The event is free an open to the public.

City government officials, leaders and other county leaders have been invited to attend. There will be free parking in the church parking lot off of Beall Avenue and also at St. Mary Catholic Church.

Cosponsors are Wooster Interfaith Justice Committee, Wooster Area Interfaith partnership, Wooster-Orrville NAACP, Wooster Chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby, Wayne County Sustainable Energy Network, League of Women Voters of Wayne County and Green Energy Ohio.

Power A Clean Future Ohio (PCFO) is a nonpartisan coalition that works with local leaders to develop and implement proven climate solutions. PCFO is committed to reducing carbon emissions throughout Ohio in both big ways and small that make sense for each particular community.
