PPD: Searching for 2 men seen leaving hospital of two gunshot wound victims

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Portsmouth Police are looking for two men for questioning in recent homicide of 37-year-old Johnny Burden.

19-year-old Requan Marqui Rashad Faison is wanted after police responded to two men arriving at a hospital with gunshot wounds, police said.

On Wednesday, Jan. 24, PPD responded to Maryview Hospital after a report of two men with gunshot wounds. 34-year-old Jerome Hunter said that his vehicle was shot at.

Faison “Shooter” was seen leaving the passenger seat of Hunter’s car after arriving at the hospital. He was last seen running east on High Street through the hospital parking lot. He is wanted for information in a homicide investigation as well as wanted for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

He was last seen carrying a black book bag with unknown contents. He is around 5’2″, 120 lbs.

The other person wanted for questioning was sitting next to Burden in the car that transported the men to the hospital, and police are still looking to identify him.

He’s described as 30-40 years old, 5’9″-5’11” and last seen wearing a light blue hoodie and jeans with a large stain.
