PPG names new president and CEO
Pittsburgh-based PPG Industries Inc. announced on Wednesday it has elected a new CEO.
Tim Knavish, the current chief operating officer of the manufacturing giant, will step into the role of president and CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2023. He will join the board of directors on Oct. 20, 2022.
Michael McGarry, the current chairman and CEO of PPG (NYSE: PPG) who has been in the role since September 2016, will serve as executive chairman of the company until his intended retirement date of Oct. 1, 2023.
