- This morning, Chicago Catholic Sisters hosted their monthly homicide prayer vigil honoring those killed by gun violence. Special mention was made of Eric Crawford, a 13-year-old boy who was shot while riding his bike four blocks from his home on May 16. He died two days later. Today's vigil took place near 36th and Wood in McKinley Park about a block from the shooting.
