How Pregnant Christina Anstead Celebrated Easter with Her Newly-Blended Family

Christina Anstead looked hoppy as ever this Easter!

Two weeks after announcing that she was expecting a baby boy with new husband Ant Anstead, the mom of two celebrated the holidays with her newly-blended family.

The pregnant Flip or Flop and Christina on the Coast star, 35, tells PEOPLE she spent time with her two children, whom she shares with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa — son Brayden James, 3½, and daughter Taylor Reese, 8 — as well as Ant’s son Archie, 12, and daughter Amelie, 15.

“We had a really nice time celebrating Easter this year with Ant’s kids here to celebrate,” she tells PEOPLE. “We BBQ’d, enjoyed our new backyard and had an early an early Easter egg hunt.”

On Sunday, Christina posted a photo to Instagram alongside Ant, her children, and the Easter Bunny. In the sweet family shot, everyone smiled except for Brayden who appeared to be enthralled by the giant white bunny standing behind him.

“Best photo I could get 😜… Happy Easter 🐰💗. #sugarhigh,” she captioned the photo.

Christina announced late last month that she and Ant, who married in December, are expecting their first baby together in September.

“@ant_anstead and I are so excited to announce #babyanstead coming this September!! The kids are all so excited to meet their new sibling,” she posted alongside a snapshot of herself holding out a sonogram photo while hugging her husband.

Earlier this month, however, Christina’s ex-husband El Moussa, 37, sat down for an interview with TMZ Live, during which he let slip the sex of the Ansteads’ baby on the way.

“Things are good today. She’s remarried, she’s actually pregnant — everybody knows that,” he said. “She’s having a son. My kids are super excited. I’m excited for her new chapter in life. They’re a great couple and I really do hope the best for them.”

Shortly after, Christina’s publicist Cassie Zebisch confirmed to PEOPLE exclusively that the pair are indeed expecting a boy.

“While Christina and Ant wished they could have shared the news themselves, they are very excited to welcome a baby boy in the fall,” Zebisch said.

Days after El Moussa accidentally let the news slip, Christina shared a happy photo from their sex reveal celebration on Instagram, which featured her blended family.

“It’s a boy 💙!! @ant_anstead, the kids and I are so excited! This blended family cannot wait to add our 5th child to the mix,” she captioned the group photo.

In another post, shared on Christina’s Instagram Story, the HGTV star jokingly asked her fans and followers to take a poll to see if she was expecting a boy or girl. “Can’t wait to find out,” she captioned the Boomerang video along with a crying laughing emoji.
