The NC state baseball playoffs begin Tuesday. Find out when, where your team is playing
Three teams in the Charlotte region or the Triangle received No. 1 overall seeds for the 2021 N.C. high school baseball state tournament.
The playoffs are scheduled to begin Tuesday. The state finals are June 25-26 at Burlington’s Athletic Stadium or JP Riddle Stadium in Fayetteville.
In 4A, Providence, from Charlotte, got the No. 1 seed in the West. The Panthers (12-2) will play Ragsdale (9-5) at home Tuesday.
The No. 1 seed in the East is Heritage High from Wake Forest. Heritage (11-3) will play Hoggard (9-4) in its first round game.
And in 3A, Crest got the No. 1 seed in the West. The Chargers (12-0) will play North Henderson Tuesday.
▪ There is only one unbeaten 4A team: Hough (14-0), seeded No. 4, will play East Forsyth (10-4) at home Tuesday.
There are six unbeatens in 3A: Crest, No. 6 West seed Southwest Guilford (14-0). Then in the East No. 1 Northern Guilford (14-0), No. 2 West Cateret (11-0) and No. 7 Terry Sanford (13-0).
