Prep Golf Roundup: Brainerd girls win CLC meet; Willmar sixth

May 14—ST. CLOUD — The Brainerd and Alexandria girls golf teams continued their battle at the top of the Central Lakes Conference, with the Warriors clipping Alexandria on Thursday at St. Cloud Country Club.

Brainerd finished with a score of 315, beating Alexandria by three strokes. Alexandria's Hannah Boraas was the medalist with an 18-hole score of 73.

The Willmar girls finished sixth as a team with a 398. Leading the way was Kessa Mara, whose 83 was good for eighth place.

The next CLC meet will take place on Monday at Alexandria Golf Club.
