Prep highlights: Brighton opens KLAA West volleyball play with win
Brighton opened KLAA West volleyball play Tuesday with a 27-25, 25-10, 25-20 victory over Salem.
Emily Kramer had 10 kills and three aces, Megan Jagst had three blocks and Sophie Lerch had 11 digs for the Bulldogs (6-3-1).
Soccer
Charyl Stockwell 8, Livingston Christian 2
The Sentinels fell behind 2-0 before scoring the next eight goals.
David Wilson scored three goals and Jaden Denkhaus had two for Stockwell. Seth Campbell had one goal and three assists.
Golf
Canton 176, Hartland 177
Brooklyn Daniels was second with a 40 and Mackenzie Jordan was third with a 43 for Hartland.
Dexter 187, Pinckney 217
Dexter freshman Avery Manning was first with a 39 and Pinckney junior Alivia Ligrow was second with a 40.
CAAC Red jamboree
Fowlerville was fifth with a 255 in an event won by Haslett with a 168. Raya Goulding led Fowlerville with a 53.
Tennis
DeWitt quad
Fowlerville won 5-2 over Goodrich and lost 5-3 to DeWitt.
Ryder Lukasik won both of his matches at No. 4 singles for the Gladiators (10-1-2). Fowlerville’s No. 1 doubles team of Oliver Farmer and Alex Jonas also went 2-0.
