PREP ROUNDUP: Arnold takes 8-0 mercy-rule win over Mosley

PANAMA CITY BEACH — Arnold eased past Mosley for an 8-0 mercy-rule victory on Thursday night at Gavlak Stadium, improving to 14-1-1 on the season.

Braden Masker scored two goals and added three assists, while Ben Lebdaoui added two goals and two assists. Quintin Hotop also scored two goals, with Edwin Lopez and Titus Conrad scoring goals as well. Tu To had an assist.

Lopez provided the first goal of the game just two minutes in off of a pass from Lebdaoui, who made it 2-0 in the 14th minute on an assist from Masker. A goal from Hotop on a rebound followed by Lebdaoui's second made it 4-0, with Masker scoring on a penalty kick and Conrad scoring just before the half on a pass from To to make it 6-0 at the break.

Hotop's second made it 7-0 in the 51st minute before Masker ended it with an easy goal off of a Mosley giveaway in the 66th minute.

Arnold next plays host to South Walton on Tuesday. Mosley takes on Columbia on Saturday at Tommy Oliver Stadium.

North Bay Haven 8, Bozeman 0

SAND HILLS — Cameron Nolte and James Betts scored two goals apiece to lead the Buccaneers (6-8-1) to the win. Bozeman fell to 0-12 on the year.

Thomas Carinhas, Noah Carlson, Darron Macon Jr., and Christopher Fussell also scored goals, with Fussell adding two assists. Betts, Nicholas Harrison, and Alex Contreras provided assists as well. Joe DeLuna had two saves.

Girls soccer

North Bay Haven 6, Bozeman 0

SAND HILLS — Allie Harshbarger and Bayleigh Pitts scored two goals each to lead the Buccaneers (7-5-2), with Harshbarger adding an assist. Megan Meyer scored a goal and provided two assists.

Cassandra Erickson scored a goal, with Felcia Freche and Everett Dent each providing an assist.

Arnold 8, Bay 0

PANAMA CITY — Karen Jones scored three goals to lead the Marlins (9-3), with Zoe Looker adding two goals and an assist. Kendal Coreil, Claudia Conrad, and Circe Hobbs each scored a goal as well.

Sadie Fish led with two assists, followed by Dresden Conrad, Rheagan Savage, Emily Djagbare, Colette Pugh, and Aidan McDuffie with one assist each.

Boys basketball

Arnold 63, Port St. Joe 47

PORT ST. JOE — Alex Steen scored 34 points to lead the Marlins (8-10) to their third consecutive victory. Jordan White and Jhantae Stewart added seven points each.

Lajuan Zaccaro and TJ Jenkins each scored 16 points to lead the Tiger Sharks (3-9).

North Bay Haven 60, Blountstown 45

LYNN HAVEN — Chris Bibbs scored 24 points to lead the Buccaneers (12-3) to their fourth straight victory, with Darwin Torres, Nhimari Bell, and Maurice Butler all scoring six points each.

Bozeman 64, Northside Methodist Academy 22

DOTHAN (Ala.) — Joe Carpenter scored 18 points to lead the Bucks (15-2) to their fifth straight win, with Eli Fidler adding 11 points, and Josh Carpenter eight points.

Girls basketball

North Bay Haven 49, Blountstown 40

LYNN HAVEN — Aleena Khan scored 28 points to lead the Buccaneers (8-6) to their third straight win, with Jamiya Smith adding eight points.
