Prep Roundup: Chippewa routs Dalton to set up huge matchup with Smithville

Ahead of a huge WCAL matchup with Smithville on Saturday, Chippewa took care of business against Dalton.

While Bulldog standout Ella Lunsford scored a game-high 20 points, the Chipps limited the rest of Dalton just nine points combined.

“We took a good step forward tonight in sharing the basketball. The scoring was dispersed extremely well. But we won on the defensive end. At halftime I challenged them to have some defensive pride and before we put in the second unit, the varsity had given up only 7 second half points. So, I couldn’t be prouder of their response."
