PREP ROUNDUP: Dolphins snap losing skid with road win over Seahawks

SANTA ROSA BEACH — The Mosley boys basketball team ended a three-game losing streak with a 56-54 road victory over South Walton on Tuesday night.

Randy Pittman led a balanced scoring effort for the Dolphins (9-10) with 14 points, followed by EJ Reddice with 12 points, Josiah McCall with 10 points, Jakian Taylor with nine points, and KJ Kyle with seven points.

Mosley returns home on Friday to take on Rutherford.

Arnold 79, Destin 50

PANAMA CITY BEACH — Alex Steen scored 37 points to eclipse the 1,000-point mark for his career in leading the Marlins (9-10) to their fourth straight victory. Steen scored 24 of his points in the first half to spur Arnold to a 42-17 lead.

Will Mathis added 10 points and Noah Alley had six.

Rutherford 70, Franklin County 57

SPRINGFIELD — The Rams (12-6) snapped a three-game losing skid with the victory and will next play Friday night at Mosley. Zac Edwards led Rutherford with 22 points, followed by Antonio Morgan with 16 points, Ryan Spearman with eight points, and Janorian Allen with seven points.

Ethan Kembro led the Seahawks (6-11) with 19 points, followed by Carter Kembro with 12 points, and Jeremiah Stephens and Owen Poloronis with 10 points each.

Fort Walton Beach 74, Bay 63

FORT WALTON BEACH — Bay's nine-game winning streak and seven-game road winning streak both came to an end, with Mason Brundidge leading the Vikings (7-11) with 21 points, followed by Donald Pollard III with 19 points, and Jacoby Seriale with 18 points.

Deondrian Washington led the Tornadoes (14-6) with 21 points, with Timmy Brown adding 18 points, and Tramello Carter 10 points.

Bozeman 68, Northside Methodist Academy (Ala.) 22

SAND HILLS — Lewis Lowder scored 16 points to lead a balanced scoring effort for Bozeman (17-2), followed by Josh Carpenter with 10 points, and Dawson Eaton, Noa McClelland, and Blake Fountain with nine points each. Dylan Hoawrd also had eight points.

Girls basketball

Mosley 41, Walton 29

LYNN HAVEN — The Dolphins (5-10) picked up their first win in two weeks and swept the season series against the Braves (6-14), with Tillery Johnson leading the way with 17 points, and Guissell Puerto adding nine points.

Boys soccer

Arnold 2, South Walton 0

PANAMA CITY BEACH — Quintin Hotop had a goal and an assist while Braden Masker scored a goal as well to lead the Marlins (15-1-1). Ridge Hatton also had an assist.

Girls soccer

Bozeman 3, Bay 2

PANAMA CITY — Maggie Suggs scored two goals and Skye Coan added a goal and an assist to lead the Bucks (4-9-1). Choe Le and Kimberly True added assists, and Roni Wiggins made 10 saves.

Emily Rollins scored both goals for the Tornadoes (4-11), with Sammie Smith providing two assists and Kylie Canone making six saves.
