PANAMA CITY BEACH — Lexy Griffin had 14 points, 14 assists, and 12 steals to lead the Arnold girls basketball team to a 60-47 victory over Bay High.

It was the fifth triple-double of the season for Griffin and the ninth of her career. Karen Jones added 23 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and five steals for the Marlins (18-1), while Laylah Davis contributed 12 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and five steals as well. Morgan Dixon also had nine points and five rebounds.

Nevaeh Smith led the Tornadoes (9-10) with 14 points and seven rebounds, with Samiyah Smiley adding 10 points and seven rebounds. Tyasia Yarrell also scored seven points.

Arnold will next play Thursday night at Rutherford. Bay will play at Mosley on Tuesday night.

North Bay Haven 55, Destin 22

DESTIN — Kaylee Goodpaster scored 21 points, grabbed 17 rebounds, and had 10 steals to pick up her second straight triple-double to lead the Buccaneers (11-8) to their third straight win.

Aleena Khan added 17 points, with Alana Gilbert and Mimi Johnson scoring six points each.

Boys basketball

North Bay Haven 101, Destin 74

DESTIN — Chris Bibbs scored 41 points to lead the Buccaneers (17-4) to their fourth straight win, with Maurice Butler adding 20 points.

Darwin Torres added 17 points and Taber Brown scored 12 points, with Airon Kilgore scoring seven points.

Bay 74, Chipley 51

PANAMA CITY — Deondrian Washington scored 19 points to lead the Tornadoes (16-6), followed by Timmy Brown with 15 points, and Jacques Lee with nine points.

Keigi Lilly, Jeremiah Banks, and Tramello Carter all scored eight points apiece, with Tyberias McCree scoring seven points. Albert McKinnie was the top scorer for the Tigers (8-9) with 23 points, followed by Porter Moore with 12 points.
