Jalen Wenger and Kyrie Gaut combined for 61 points Sunday as Dalton overpowered visiting University School.

Wenger had four 3-pointers, scored 31 points and added three assists, while Gaut drilled a career-high eight 3s, scored 30 points and had five rebounds. Gaut has 15 3-pointers in his last two games.

The Bulldogs jumped out to a 25-13 lead before the Preppers closed to within 54-48 heading into the final quarter, but Dalton dominated the final eight minutes 29-20 to nail down the win.

The victory continued the strong play of the Bulldogs, who lost by a combined 11 points to Division I powers Mentor and Archbishop Hoban earlier this season.

Braylon Wenger added 14 points, seven rebounds and a team-high seven assists for Dalton. Jaden Schlabach chipped in a team-high 13 rebounds and Colin Pearson contributed six points.
