Prep Roundup: Osborne flag football team sweeps three games

Nov. 2—After a pair of shutouts Monday, Osborne's flag football team returned Tuesday to beat Harrison 25-6.

It continued the momentum from a day earlier, when the Lady Cardinals beat Pebblebrook 8-0 and South Cobb 25-0.

In the win over Harrison, Cheyenne Brooks was 6-for-12 through the air, with touchdown passes to Anijia Brady and LaToya Mitchell.

Osborne also accounted for 201 rushing yards, led by Zoie Johnson's 94 yards. Mitchell added 53 yards and a touchdown, Nadja Long had 43 yards and Brooks had a 2-yard touchdown run.

Against Pebblebrook, Johnson ran for 76 yards and had a 15-yard touchdown reception from Brooks. Esther Udo had a sack that resulted in a safety, while Jayla Carrillo had six flag pulls and an interception.

Against South Cobb, Johnson ran for 109 yards and a touchdown, while adding 49 receiving yards and two more touchdowns.

Osborne will return to action Monday, facing Marietta and McEachern to determine playoff seeding
