Prep Roundup: Waynedale holds off Northwestern for WCAL win

Waynedale 50, Northwestern 48
Waynedale pulled away steadily and then held off a 10-6 fourth quarter run to defeat Northwestern in this Wayne County Athletic League battle in a two-point thriller.
Leading the Golden Bears was Trey Barkman with a team-high 13 points and Jeremy Reber chipped in with 11 points. Jake Coblentz added eight in the win for Waynedale.
The Huskies were led by Brett Alberts with 15 points while Owen Ferriman and Brandon Barnette both poured in 13 apiece.
