Prep Roundup: Wyckoff, Dalton hand Hillsdale first WCAL loss

Dalton 4, Hillsdale 0

Seth Wyckoff continued to prove himself as one of the WCAL's top arms, handing Hillsdale its first league loss with a shutout. The Dalton ace only allowed four hits over seven innings against Hillsdale potent lineup, striking out five and walking one. He also drove in a run and went 1-for-3 at the plate a few days after a walk-off hit against Mogadore.

Justin Basinger also came through for the Bulldogs, going 1-for-3 with two RBIs. Dalton improved to 7-2 in the league with the win and Hillsdale fell to 7-1, tied in the loss column atop the league with Norwayne.
