Behind closed doors President Joe Biden has frequent tantrums where he yells and curses at White House aides, according to a report.

The idea of the commander in chief losing his temper flies in the face of the his carefully cultivated image as the country’s ice-cream-loving grandfather.

However, Biden has such a short fuse, aides often try to avoid meeting with him one-on-one, according to Axios.

“The president’s admonitions include: “God dammit, how the f--- don’t you know this?!,” “Don’t f------ bulls--- me!” and “Get the f— out of here!” — according to current and former Biden aides who have witnessed and been on the receiving end of such outbursts,” the report reads.

The barbs are not reserved for interns, either.

“No one is safe,” an administration official told Axios.

Infamously, current chief of staff Jeff Zients was reportedly on the receiving end of Biden’s ire in 2021 when there was a COVID testing kit shortage.

The aides and officials who spokes to Axios note that the anger usually flares up when people don’t have information Biden would like in order to make a better decision.

“If there is something that’s not in the brief, he’s going to find it,” Ted Kaufman, Biden’s chief of staff during his time in the Senate told Axios. “It’s not to embarrass people, it’s because he wants to get to the right decision.”

The anger isn’t always private. In 2022, Biden was caught on a hot mic calling Fox News’ Peter Doocy a “stupid son of a b----.”

A president having a temper, though, is not particularly novel, with few seeming “consistently genial” like William Howard Taft and Gerald Ford, according to American Heritage magazine.

Still, per Axios, some aides would prefer it if the president showed his anger to the public more often to show the 80-year-old’s still fiery and not too old to serve.
