The opening monologue of Monday’s episode of “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” featured a spliced video of President Joe Biden singing BTS’ English track “Butter.”

President Biden’s cover was part of a joke about him picking up on South Korean culture during his visit to the country on May 20.

The edited compilation of Biden audio clips created the appearance of him singing the opening lines of the BTS’ smash hit: “Smooth like butter, like a criminal undercover. Gon' pop like trouble breaking into your heart like that.”

The world record-breaking “Butter” snagged the Hybe boy group historic Billboard Music Award wins earlier this month. “Butter” is their second English-language single following “Dynamite,” which may be the first K-pop song to be played in space. “Butter” precedes “Permission to Dance,” which BTS performed at the United Nations General Assembly and shares a name with their tour, where they recently announced new music.
