President Macron Pays Tribute to German Chancellor Merkel During Farewell Visit

French President Emmanuel Macron presented Angela Merkel with France’s highest award on Wednesday during her last visit to France as German Chancellor.

This footage, uploaded to President Macron’s official Twitter page, shows Chancellor Merkel receiving the Grand Cross of the Legion at the Château du Clos de Vougeot in Beaune, before the pair share a hug.
