President Zelensky meets Croatian PM in Kyiv
The Ukrainian leader called Plenković's visit "an important signal of solidarity" and thanked Croats for their support in the fight against modern manifestations of Nazism on the part of Russia. The two leaders discussed Ukraine's integration into the European Union and the protection of Eu-rope's energy freedom.

Plenković said that Croatian Ambassador to Ukraine Anica Džamić was re-turning to Kyiv from Lviv on May 8.
"Ukraine speaks one language with Croatia — the language of values and the struggle for freedom,” the president’s press service said via Telegram messenger.

"We discussed the strengthening of sanctions pressure on Russia, and cooperation to restore normal life in the occupied areas of our country with Prime Minister Andrej Plenković.”
Following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Croatia expelled 18 Russian diplomats and six administrative and technical staff from the Russian embassy in Zagreb.
