Presidential Historian Michael Beschloss on the history of contentious transitions

Contentious transitions are not unique to this year. Something similar happened 88 years ago, in the fall of 1932, when President Herbert Hoover was defeated by Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and spent the entire transition pressuring FDR to reject the very programs he campaigned on. NBC News Presidential Historian Michael Beschloss speaks to MSNBC’s Joshua Johnson about the similarities, and differences, of those two cases.
