The press conference by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will take place when all security issues are resolved.

Quote from Nykyforov: "A press conference will definitely take place. But there are no specific plans yet. There are a lot of security issues."

Details: Nykyforov emphasised that if a regular press conference with open accreditation is to be organised, then there must be "an absolutely safe venue, like the one in the metro [on 23 April, Zelenskyy held a press conference in the metro in Kyiv - ed.]."

Nykyforov added that it is difficult to find such places, because "they, in fact, do not exist."

The spokesman also noted that he received hundreds of requests for an interview with Zelenskyy.

He clarified that many officials are receiving requests for an interview with the president. They include Iryna Pobiedonostseva, General Director of the Directorate for Information and Media Policy at the Office of the President, Mykhailo Podoliak, adviser to the Head of the Office of the President and even Ukrainian ambassadors abroad.

Nykyforov also said that Zelenskyy had already given interviews to NBC, ABC and other media.
