The Pretty Reckless will no longer be performing at Summerfest on closing night.

The hard rock band led by former child actress Taylor Momsen was supposed to close out the Miller Lite Oasis at the Milwaukee music festival on Saturday. But positive COVID-19 cases have forced the band to cancel weekend gigs, including in Detroit and Kansas City.

“We hope to feel better soon and will make it out to the very first venue we can,” the band wrote in a statement on social media.

On Friday morning Summerfest officials announced that Chevelle, who opened for Disturbed and Lamb of God at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater June 30, will now play the Miller Lite Oasis at 10:15 pm Saturday.

It’s one of eight late headliner cancellations at America’s largest music festival for 2022.

A couple cancellations — Ann Wilson of Heart and 10,000 Maniacs — were also due to COVID-19. (They were replaced by the Steve Miller Band and Freddy Jones Band, respectively.)

Nessa Barrett canceled following the death of a close friend, and was replaced by "abcdefu" hitmaker Gayle. British artist Barns Courtney had to cancel due to a passport issue, and was replaced by Sparta.

Specific reasons weren't cited for Willow and Remi Wolf's cancellations; the latter was supposed to play Summerfest's Johnson Controls World Sound Stage at 8 p.m. this Friday, but previous Summerfest 2022 performer Ambar Lucid is taking Wolf's place.

And Justin Bieber postponed multiple dates, including a Summerfest American Family Insurance Amphitheater show scheduled for June 24, due to partial facial paralysis from Ramsay Hunt syndrome. A new date has yet to be announced, and the amphitheater remained dark that night.

Summerfest wraps up its final weekend this Thursday through Saturday.
