FAMU key players: Guard Jordan Tillmon (12 points per game), guard Byron Smith (10.5 points per game), forward Jaylen Bates (five rebounds per game)

Oregon State key players: Guard Jordan Pope (19 points per game), guard Dexter Okanno (18 points per game), forward Rodrigue Andela (nine rebounds per game)

Three pointers: FAMU men's basketball lost its first two games against Oregon and Portland. The Rattlers last game was a 91-54 loss to Portland on Wednesday. Guards Jordan Tillmon (16) and Byron Smith (14) led FAMU in scoring after not having a double digit scorer in the season opener at Oregon. The Rattlers are currently trying to garner some chemistry and learn their best playing style with nine new players on a roster of 13.

FAMU key players: Guard Dylan Horton (20 points per game), guard Mide Oriyomi (11 rebounds per game), guard Ahriahna Grizzle (four assists per game)

USF key players: Guard Sammie Puisis (20 points per game), Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadeu (ten rebounds per game), Guard Aerial Wilson (seven assists per game)

Three pointers: The Rattlers fell to Florida 83-55 in the season opener on Monday. FAMU coach Shalon Pillow left the team's season opener at Florida with optimism. Guard Dylan Horton led the game in scoring with 20 points. Purdue transfer Mide Oriyomi also had a game high with 11 rebounds in her first game with FAMU. The team is currently working in an influx of seven new players as guards Oriyomi and Ahriahna Grizzle are establishing themselves as integral pieces.
