Preview: FAMU basketball looks to get back in win column, hosts Alabama A&M

WBB: Florida A&M (3-15, 1-6 SWAC) vs. Alabama A&M (8-9, 6-1 SWAC)

Three-pointers: The Rattlers didn't have their best showing in the Southwestern Athletic Conference road trip to Jackson State, falling 72-51 to the Tigers. But they've shown that it is possible to win in the SWAC after beating Mississippi Valley State in their last game in the Lawson Center. Guard Dylan Horton is still the team's unquestioned leader. But fellow guard Ivet Subirats is has been a big help with her sharpshooting ability. In the last two games, she averages 10.5 points per game on a 54 percentage from three. But FAMU will have a tall task ahead as Alabama A&M has won its last three contests and lost only one conference game this season.

FAMU key players: Guard Dylan Horton (16.1 points per game), guard Ivet Subirats (7.8 points per game), forward Paulla Weekes (6.1 rebounds per game)

AAMU key players: Guard Toni Grace (12.1 points per game), forward Amani Free (11.5 points per game), center Jayla Cody (5.8 points per game)
