Prichard woman arrested, accused of murder
UPDATE (6:01 p.m.): Officials with the Prichard Police Department have named Dana Jordan, 38, as the victim. Jordan died from multiple gunshot wounds.
UPDATE (4:19 p.m.): A Prichard woman has been arrested and booked into jail in connection to a death on Circle Drive, WKRG has confirmed.
Mary Jordan, 76, is charged and accused of murdering her grandson, who has yet to be identified.
Neighbors at the scene wept as they watched the grandson be taken from the house.
Gregory Carroll Sr. says he has lived next door to Jordan for the past 15 years.
“Sometimes I would come out on the porch, and she would say good morning to me, and I say good morning back to her. That’s the kind of person she is. If I needed something, if I needed a favor, she was always willing to help and that’s what I love and admire about her,” Carroll said.
He says hearing what happened between Jordan and her grandson is shocking.
“Right now, I’m just hurt and shocked,” Carroll said.
PRICHARD, Ala. (WKRG) — Officers with the Prichard Police Department are investigating a death on Circle Drive Wednesday, according to officials.
The death occurred on the 400 block of Circle Drive, near N Wilson Avenue. Police have confirmed that the victim is a male.
