Pride Month events in Cincinnati this weekend šŸ³ļøā€šŸŒˆ

June is Pride Month celebrating the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community, and nobody knows how to throw a party better than the LGBTQ crowd. From drag shows, theater and cabaret to the most colorful parade and festival in the city, Greater Cincinnati will be sparkling with celebrations all month long.

June 24

Middletown Pride Festival, 5-9 p.m., Governor's Square Park, Central Ave. and S. Broad St., Middletown. Features Pride Ride, vendors, activity stations, live music, live shows and color bomb photo opportunities. facebook.com.

Art After Dark: Born This Way, 5-9 p.m., Cincinnati Art Museum, 953 Eden Park Drive, Mount Adams. Celebrate Pride with drag queen Phaedra, music by DJ Mowgli, docent-led tours all evening, food for purchase and cash bar. Parking is limited; consider rideshares. Free. cincinnatiartmuseum.org.

Pride Block Party, 8 p.m.-midnight, Queen City Exchange, 32 W. Court St.; The Birdcage, 927 Race St.; and Bar 901, 901 Race St., Downtown. Bar hop between the three bars for timed specials and fun events.

June 25

Cincinnati Pride Festival, noon-9 p.m., Sawyer Point Park, Downtown. Food, drinks, vendors and performances. Special performance by queer pop artist Jordy. cincinnatipride.org.

Cincinnati Pride Parade, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Downtown. Parade starts at Central Ave. and Seventh. Follows Seventh St. to Vine, south on Vine past Fountain Square, left onto Second St., right onto Main St. to Great American Ball Park, then left onto Mehring Way, finishing at Sawyer Point Park. cincinnatipride.org.

Pride Roll Out: Roller Derby Expo & Open Skate, 3-11 p.m., Sawyer Point Park, Downtown. Riverfront Outdoor Rink will be set up next to the tennis courts. Derby is from 3-6:30 p.m. followed by open skate.

Cincy Pride Pub Crawl, 6 p.m.-midnight, Esoteric Brewing Co., 918 E. McMillan St., Walnut Hills. Music, food, craft beer and cocktails, DJs, dancing, karaoke and more. Crawl Esoteric, Tiki Tiki Bang Bang, Comfort Station, Brew House and Fireside. Free to attend. eventbrite.com.

Epic Pride Party, 3-6 p.m., Agave & Rye, 3825 Edwards Road, Norwood. Hosted by Jessica Dimon, drag show features Rahanna, Amaya, Sasha, Kelly Lauren, Dalicious. Music by DJ Charlee. All ages.

Cincinnati Pride Tea Dance, 4 p.m., Music Hall, 1241 Elm St., Over-the-Rhine. This year's theme is Parisienne Burlesque. DJ Soundhouse, DJ Xanati and DJ Blak Cherri provide the beats. Ages 21-up. Free.

"Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens," 2 p.m., Ensemble Theatre, 1127 Vine St., Over-the-Rhine. Shares the stories of 31 people from all walks of life who are affected by HIV/AIDS. This celebration of lives lost to the epidemic is told through free-verse monologues and songs with a blues, jazz and rock score. Free.

Pride Month at the Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library. All branches will feature LGBTQ+ art exhibitions, poetry readings, discussion panels, crafts, story times and more. Free. Runs June 1-30.

Pride Month at Hotel Covington. Coppin's at Hotel Covington (638 Madison Ave.) is offering a $10 specialty cocktail, the Harvey Milk Punch, with a portion or proceeds donated to NKY Pride Center.

Pride Month at Soul Goods. Soul Goods, 318 E. Fourth St., Downtown. In honor of Pride month, 10% of every purchase will be donated to Lighthouse Youth & Family Services Resources for LGBTQ Youth. soulgoodscincy.com.

Story Tree Time, 11 a.m., Cincinnati Museum Center's Children's Museum, 1301 Western Ave., Queensgate. Each Thursday during Pride month, children can enjoy story times in Little Sprouts Farm with a selection of books including "Red: A Crayon's Story," a book about a blue crayon mislabeled red that goes through an identity crisis as it tries to find its true self; "Jamie is Jamie," about a child whose toy choices don't follow the normal boys and trucks, girls and dolls rule; and "Jamie and Bubbie," a multigenerational book about respecting people's pronouns. cincymuseum.org.
