Prigozhin threatens to withdraw his mercenaries from Bakhmut if they lack ammunition

Prigozhin appealed Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, asking him to provide ammunition immediately.

“I am appealing to Sergei Shoigu with a request to immediately provide ammunition,” Prigozhin said.

“If this is refused, I will consider it necessary to bring the information about the current problems and the expediency of the continued location of Wagner units in the town of Bakhmut to the supreme commander-in-chief,” said Prigozhin, apparently threating to bring the matter to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin himself.

Prigozhin said his mercenaries have only a few days-worth of ammunition left, so they will either leave the city or “be left to die”.

Prigozhin added a warning that “then, as much as our bureaucrats would not like it, everything else will crumble.”

Previously, Prigozhin complained that his mercenary company would soon disappear, as “there are not many Wagner fighters left.”
