Primavera Sound 2020 Postponed Due to Coronavirus Concerns

This year’s Primavera Sound festival has been postponed over ongoing concerns about the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Originally scheduled to take place June 3-7, the annual Barcelona festival will take place August 26–30. Ticket sales have been put on hold, but already-bought tickets will be honored for the new dates. Organizers have also stated that details about NOS Primavera Sound Porto 2020 are forthcoming. Coachella, Bonnaroo, SXSW, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Fest, and several other major music festivals and tours have been canceled or postponed in recent weeks as public health measures have dictated a stop to large gatherings. Pavement, Bikini Kill, Bauhaus, Bauhaus, and the Strokes were among those set to appear at Primavera Sound 2020.
